My boat trailer bearings failed 2 hours away from home and I was really lucky to find Westside Marine. Chad went above and beyond to get my new hub ready when I walked in there. The shop was clean, organized and professional: Just like the service. I was very impressed, and I'm hard to impress.

Chad took good care of my 1988 2 stroke 115hp Mercury outboard (replaced the fuel system and steering cable). I will use Westside Marine from now on and refer my family and friends. Thanks for the prompt service and great communication!

Westside Marine for the win!!!! Unfortunately I had every boaters worse nightmare happen, which is a cracked block....So engine replacement time for me....Spoke to several locations and they were WEEKS out from being able to replace my engine. Called and spoke with Chad and he said he would be able to get right on it! Within 2 weeks from making the call, the replacement engine (New Reman) was delivered to Westside and they had it pulled, swapped out and installed! With Westside's speedy service, we only missed 2 weekends of the boating season! As an added bonus, they were cheaper than everyone else I contacted! Thank you Westside for the quality and speedy service!

I ve been using Chad for several years and can t imagine a better place. From ski boats to duck boats he keeps us going. Prices are great, he s quick, honest, and dependable. I ve referred several people who drive long distances to use him as well. From preventative maintenance to major issues you should give Westside your business.

Chad and his wife are awesome. Great family run business with awesome customer service. Chad is very knowledgeable. He put a brand new motor in my boat and it s running great. He has my business from now one.

I took a boat into them for repairs. They rebuilt the carbs. I took it out and it had a problem with running. Took it back and they said that they had to rebuild the carbs again. I also asked them about replacing a steering cable. I authorized the steering cable from what the technician told me as far as cost. When they were done the cost was double. I went ahead and paid the bill. When I went to pick it up the cover was put back on the boat by just attaching the cover over the tie down cleats and not tying it back down. The boat was brought to them with the cover tied down. The wind caught the cover and ripped it to where it is not good anymore. I also found that that when they replaced the steering cable they did not bother to mount the cables back to where they were prior to having the work done. They also did not clean up their mess from this repair. I would not recommend this place. Very disappointed in the quality and customer service from this business.

I had bad experiences with this WS.I took little 9.9 mariner outboard needed aTune up(spark plugs and carbs)Price 275.00. Took the boat and motorFishing after the repaire to southeasternAr. Would not run. A waste of time and money.Tool it back he said it was the gas. I replacedThe gas when again did the same thing.Took it back two weeks later it was a badSpark plug. My boat was badly bent in the frontAnd back. Took my Skeeter bass boat for Repaires it s never been the same. Tried to take it back never had time for me.Nice ,friendly, kind concerning people when your wallets is open but will treat you bad if theyHave to have to open there cash register.Stay away. Go to the dealer.

This shop was a smaller local one that had availability to look over a boat that i was thinking of buying and diagnose a overheat issue.When i took the boat to them they diagnosed with thermostat issue and replaced the impellar as well on the volvo 4.3Once we got the boat out to greers ferry to put it in its new slip and after we had purchased the boat having the previous owner take care of the issues that i had just payed them to fix, the boat overheated idling to the dock.so we took the boat back to the shop to have them solve the issue.. again..This time it came out to be a temp sensor and ran another 300$ to repair that had they actually checked over the boat and insured their work i could have had the previous owner fix and not had to pay out of pocket.Now here i am 4 months later and i go to work on my boat and diagnose a hard steering issue i have noticed over the summer and i notice a belt completely missing off the engine. i am still shocked that the shop that i had asked to look over the boat for me while servicing the overheat issue wouldnt spot this issue, therefore creating more work for themselves and more profit. As i went to change this belt i had to remove the raw water pump, i found that they impellar that they had changed had been put in slightly wrong causing some of the fins to be worn the wrong way. and finally when the pump was supposed to be mounted to the drive pulley, it completely fell off.Again i would assume that the shop that i was paying to work on my boat would have noticed this issue on a part that they were working on first hand.Now this is my experience with my boat, this may not have been a normal boat for them with the 4.3 I/O. however i can say for sure i would never take another boat to them.

Brought my duck boat in on a Monday during duck season. They recognized it was duck season and I was in a hurry to get it back to hunt out of. They made it a priority to get it finished. Got it back the next day. Can t thank them enough. Would highly recommend.

When they put a carb kit in my motor they smashed a gasket and had to rework the carb and told me I had to pay for the second hr for another rebuild They did get to it quick when I was in a pinch but. Won't!! Use them again

Get told one price then when get call get told 300 more then what was told so when i get a day off to go get motor I won't be back to his shop
