A couple months ago, was having issues with my wife's truck. Talked to someone on Thursday, and they said if I could drop it off that night, they would try to have it don't Friday, and if not, it would be the first vehicle worked on Saturday morning. I asked them for a simple diagnosis regarding a rattling sound.Called Friday morning to make sure they got the paperwork and keys, and to go over the issue by phone. Called in one more time Friday evening to add a question I had forgotten to ask earlier. I told them it was my work vehicle, and I would need it back Saturday afternoon even if they couldn't get to it, because of work. They assured me it would be the first one they looked at Saturday morning. Again, there was no repair work being done, just a lookover.Saturday, no word. I left them alone all morning, only calling half an hour before they closed to get an update. Not only were they rude and short with me, I heard someone in the background loudly shouting how this "B&#^@" kept calling.They then sent me a quote for $2,000 worth of work that had absolutely nothing to do with what I asked them to check.Just a couple of weeks ago, a friend went to them, and got treated similarly. Quoted 5000 worth of work largely unrelated to the issue he asked them to fix, and approved several hundred dollars worth of work without his permission.Two years ago, they were great. No idea what happened.

Friendly and efficient service. Dillon at the front was helpful and knowledgeable. He remembered our phone conversation, recognized me immedately everytime I came back in, and gave me all the information I would need. I got a detailed breakdown of what needed to be fixed with pictures and they fixed one of my tires which was put on backwards and rotated all of them for free as part of the car inspection which was very reasonably priced. Best of all they came in $100 under the price estimate! Extremely happy with my service here!

Great place, I got 4 new tires, an alignment, an wipers for under $750. And the Guys in there are professional and polite. Would recommend if you need work done or tires.

I could not be more impressed with the service at UT&A. I have had the hardest time finding someone to install my HID light in my Lexus and they did it in a matter of minutes with the most friendly service, they made me feel so valued which is not common as a young woman seeking car service! I will be coming back here any time I need service in the future. My friends have also had great experiences here as well!

Noticed that something was hanging off under my car so I brought it in without an appointment and they were able to check it quickly for me and explain everything! Staff was very punctual and friendly.

Best experience at an Auto Shop! I was in and out in 1 hour. The employees were so kind and fixed my car quickly! Could not recommend University Auto and Tire more and will definitely return when presented with other car issues.

They fix my flat for free and wouldn't even accept a tip. I'm definitely going to shop for my tires here for now on. PS, the shop and the waiting area is safe and extremely clean.

Customer service is very important to me and the folks at University Auto deliver! They greet you with a smile, call you by name and treat you in a professional manner all while providing excellent service. It's like visiting old friends. I highly recommend!!

This shop is fantastic! They have worked on my son s Subaru, as well as my Toyota. Repairs are quoted accurately & fairly. The work is done in a timely fashion, and backed up with a history of doing things right the 1st time!May I also state that their waiting room is quite state of the art ! Comfortable & a great place to get a little work done while waiting well done University Auto & Tire!

university auto and tire is the best! I walked in needing my tire patched and they fit me in immediately. They did an amazing job and I was in and out in 30 minutes. highly suggest university auto and tire!!

Honest and reliable. Cost is probably comparable to market value but they ve always been up front and honest. They provide a text with a link to what the problem is and they send a link with an estimate on repair. They do show other areas that need work but do not pressure you into getting them done immediately. They work with what you want to do. All my family vehicle go here for auto work, including tires and oil changes.Services: Tires, Oil change

Best experience I've had with a shop. Their website is very approachable. I was stranded in fayetville with my car overheating. I brought it in early Monday morning without an appointment and they had her back to me and fixed up by the next evening. I really want to brag on this shops communication and approachability. Their website is great, they text you a link to your inspection profile with all the information they have about your car, they rate the severity of issues, they include pictures and descriptions for you to see and the price estimate including tax and labor. They respond really quickly and provide updates. Its never a fun day spending a thousand dollars just to get back on the road but this shop was a very good experience I recommend it and will return next time I'm in need of service. They also gave me some water when I went to pick my car up, very kind employees. Car seems to be running smoothly now so I can only assume the mechanics are good!

I am a mechanic myself and had used University Auto for repairs to my fleet of personal vehicles for over 15 years when I did not have time/tools for the job. The former employees of UA had even gave me a nickname of "fence-bus" because of one of my more unique vehicles (a short bus covered in wood, my mom still calls me fence-bus sometimes to this day). Yesterday I scheduled a simple pinion seal replacement on my daily driver and was told to bring it in this morning. After driving over an hour at 8mi a gallon to arrive and drop off my ride, I was turned away by staff of the "new owners" because "they though my truck was a later body style," and "it's just too old." It's a '91. What difference does that make when the model of axle was used well into the 2000s, and pinion seal changes are the same on modern vehicles. You have lost me, and my 13 car fleet as a customer, and I will be spreading this experience far and wide with my deep connections here in the NWA. Good day and thanks for nothing...

We are so thankful for University Auto in Fayetteville. My daughter stops by University Auto with her older car before long road-trips and they check fluids and tire pressure. They are so friendly and want my kid to travel safe!

I've been here three times and just recently on my last visit I was told there wasn't an issue with my vehicle. I was surprised a lot of shops would've told me to get a repair I wouldn't have needed if I took it to them concerned about my vehicle. I highly recommend I will be back because they have earned my trust.

Was worried about waiting, but the waiting room was comfortable and they did not take much time to replace my tire. Staff is incredibly helpful. Get your tires here!

I just moved here in 2021, and the last thing I wanted to do was to replace my old car guy, fearing that I would be ripped off because I'm a woman...but after my first appointment here, for just an oil change, I knew these guys were honest. - they passed my 9yr old car with flying colors, not one suggestion to fix anything. (as they should based on previous maintenance) -- and then! The way they handled my first major repair.. not pushy at all, they understood my budget restraints, and solved my issue at the lowest cost possible because they took their time to do a full diagnosis before just replacing things.If you're a lady or just a guy that doesn't know much about cars, this place is your safest bet.Fast, easy, and comprehensive.

Lots of gratitude to these guys!I was doing pickups for work when I started hearing one of our tires losing air. I had never been here before, but my partner brings her car here and always spoke very highly of them. I was nearby, so brought the van by and Brad took care of me super quick. In and out in a half hour tops.Their lobby was also super comfortable. I was able to have some coffee, work on an actual desk, and enjoy the most convenient inconvenience I ve ever experienced.Thanks from the Ozark Compost team!

Honestly cannot recommend this place enough!!!!! Such good service, and as a woman trying to get a car worked on, that s hard to find. We were going on a road trip and I wanted to get my car checked out before- they were able to identify issues quickly (sent photos/level of importance/etc) and got my parts ordered and advocated for them to come in on time! Such a great experience and good value for the work. Appreciate this crew so much- because of them we got to leave on time and still go on our awesome trip! 10/10!

This shop is pricier than most other shops. They will charge about 1.5 to 2 times what others do. But as the common saying goes, "You get what you pay for." Although they're pricey, they do the job right. It hurts the wallet, but gives you peace of mind that they did it right the first time.
