My visit to the Shell Stop was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean and well-kept, which is always a plus during a road trip. They also had a wide variety of snack choices, catering to different preferences. However, the downside was the gas prices, which were on the expensive side. If you're willing to pay a bit more for convenience and cleanliness, this could be a suitable stop for you.

Easy on and off of the I-8. As usual, fuel is the highest in any neighborhood nearby. But, I miscalculated my tank and didn't want to stress on the way to Gila Bend. lolPretty good store inside.

I wanted to purchase a soda from the cooler and a cup of ice because they no longer sell Sprite. (Pour 7up over my ice.)They were going to charge me full price as if I was buying a fountain drink for my ice.I couldn't just purchase a cup of ice for .50 cents. Had to pay the full price.I left them with their soda and ice. I travel through better frequently but will no longer do at this place.

No showers. But plenty of parking and food food inside like subway. Be active don't be lazy to work out.

We swung by here for some quick snacks, fuel and a restroom break while traveling through! Clean and friendly. Great place to stop!

Worst customer service I ve ever had. I walked into employees standing there now one of them greeted me then when I went to check out, the cashiers were both talking and never once talk to me during the whole transaction, never asked if I needed anything else never offered a bag didn t even say goodbye!!!!

No changing tables in either men's nor women's restrooms. Extremely disappointing considering how new this business is. Would not visit again.

Another truck stop that just wants to sell fuel and not be a full service truck stop very very disappointed on this one again if your not going to be full service close it

Great place to stop and dump rv tanks. But the last 3 time I could mot get propane not enough employees and usually a long line.

Wow! What a great new place. VERY clean, well-stocked with almost anything you could need! The gas was about $ .75/gal more expensive than a few miles further west, though.

This place is a lot bigger than you think before you walk inside. They have a darn good selection of everything. Polite and helpful cuz I couldn't find the darn candy bar I was looking for, but they got it for me. The Pizza Hut girl was friendly and funny too!

Nice gas station. Stopped here for the Tesla super charger. Very clean bathrooms and good snack selection. Was disappointed there was no baby changing table. Please fix that! When I asked they just said no, not even sorry.

Had my backpack stolen from under the wall of the restroom stall. Money, phone chargers, permits, small electronics Loves just down the road is safer and much cleaner

The store itself and the the employees are helpful, my only complaint is how dirty the diesel islands are. Pic below.

Excellent place. Small but clean. Staff very friendly. Had a nice subway sandwich and bought a CD there. Can't find them hardly anymore. Thanks guys.

Don't be fooled, skip this dreadful place with terrible dirty, leaking bathrooms. They will also gouge you for gas, at least $1.50 more per gallon than the price elsewhere in AZ. Complete rip off.

This pilot truck is about a medium size parking area with a cat scale. Handicap ramp in the back. Parking for Handicap in the front. Wide isles for wheelchairs and facilities in the restroom. Still looks fairly new. Tell you one things, lots of nothing to look at but desert.

Restrooms are clean , no t paper in one stall. no ice coffee. little choice in any coffee. Out of counter items. Crispy Kreme old and stale at 0500 hrs. Apathy from 2 persons behind the counter when I brought this to their attention. Fuel island well taken care of. Too bad, this location below expectations and it is a new location.

This is a fairly new place so the inside of the store was nice and clean.There was a Subway inside the building as well.Was going to fill up with gas until I saw they wanted $3.99 a gallon for regular gas.At the time according to GasBuddy the average cost in Arizona was $3.107 per gallon of regular gas.

This brand new Pilot is very clean with lots of yummy snack options and large clean restrooms. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere but it's off the tracks! The chevron on the opposite side (same exit) can get you trapped waiting for the train- while this place does not! We love stopping here in the summer for some paletas on our road trips to cool off. They have a cooler full of many options and they're about a buck!

No showers here.No repair shop either. Heard they have a problem with terrible water locally but can't that be remedied with water filters for the sake of your professional driver customers???

It was ok, bathrooms were not dirty but gas was super high. Drink machine was a little flat.

New facility. The convenience store is Minute Mart. Gas is Shell. No paper towels, flushless urinals. Gasoline is 55 cents higher than the Chevron across the bridge. 10 gas pumps. 8 Tesla charging stations.

Convenient stop on our drive from Phoenix to San Diego. Easy on and off from highway. Very clean, modern location. Nice selection of snacks and drinks. Friendly staff.

Great place to stop and grab something to eat and drink, and to stretch your legs. Employee's are friendly, courteous, and helpful. Keep up the great work, I've always liked Pilot Travel Centers

For the record, we left southwest San Diego at 100% charge in our MY LR and made it to the Tacna AZ Supercharger with 12% battery. Outside temp was 64 degrees when we left at 4 AM and 56 degrees when we arrived. No travel complications except having to go over the mountains. We went 216.6 mi, used 64 kW, and got 294 Wh/mi. We typically go 2 mph over the speed limit. The energy consumption 30-mi average graph said we could go another 31 miles.We like Tacna because there are a lot of chargers and it is 250 kW, there are trash cans at the Shell gas islands (and window-washing supplies), and there is a travel center and Subway there (tho I'm not sure it was open at 7:30 AM). Bathrooms at travel centers are usually well kept up. However, the charging speed was disappointing at 120 kW due to several other Teslas being there. Speed improved as each left (but of course, speeds go down anyway).On our return trip, we also stopped at Tacna (to reduce the charging time at the El Centro Supercharger, which we know from past experience is slow). This time there were no other Teslas and our top charging speed was 231 kW. The outside temp was 77 degrees. :)
