I have sat and not said much about this company because we don t have many options in this town but OMG I cannot believe this at this point. I want to contact the BBB on them. First of all you never take ur car in and then fix only what you say. You take ur car for an oil change and even SAY ONLY oil change! If you FIND something wrong, tell me and let me CHOOSE whether to fix it or not (because they do this Everytime. I have 3 recordings of this. And they STILL fix it and charge you. I have called and gotten refunded the last time because I was just SICK of it. Do not let these ppl touch ur car. Now I took my brand new Mercedes in for a new tire and THIS is how I got it back. I m adding two photos I will also be adding to BBB complaint. These ppl are INCOMPETENT! My husband wants me to add MAYBE for the sake of fairness some other strange thing has taken place and it s not their fault but iiii would like to add we BOTH looked at this before they touched it and it wasn t there. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

This business is incompetent and the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional.My vehicle is used as business and personal and the motor could have blown up had I driven it the next day.Reported to BBB, FTC, and magistrate court as they would not refill the oil, nor repair the damages done by their employee. Maybe he was disgruntled or had a bad day, but the owner says they would never have employees do that. Maybe not, but they did this day with this automobile and this employee.Black s Tire sticker had my mileage at 15,328 for a next oil change,but the car has 77,800 miles on it. The date shows to come back in 6 months but it really is 7,500 miles for their oil filter they used.This business is very unprofessional and should not service your business fleet - unless your business is a clown show.

Super great guys. Went in thinking i need an expensive and labor intensive job done, and they diagnosed the problem after test driving. Showed me what the problem was, (it turned out to be relatively minor) and then fixed the issue that day. I didnt even miss lunch. All in all I couldn't realistically ask for more.

We are not from the area and Black s went above and beyond most to come to our rescue when we had a blowout and then our spare went flat. My husband, two nieces and I appreciate everything he done so much. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for all your help today!!!!

Hey what can I say these guys are basically a local small town American institution. They've been around since I was a kid and I'm nearly 50 years old. I've never had one bad word heard about them in my entire life. I've also not had one bad experience there and going to blacks basically my whole life for tire needs off and on at least as I've lived away from Alabama some. They are fair decent hard-working folks and they're going to give you the best deal that you're going to find anywhere in North Alabama for local tires and other front end and suspension needs. Black's tires for life baby.

Friendly and professional service. They can get you about any tire you want just about down the the exact name brand. They do oil changes and more too. Dealership spec work. I'd highly recommend to anyone. 2011 Infiniti G37 coupe owner here. Had to have several things done to it after just getting it. New tires, brakes, alignment, and a wheel bearing. They did it all and did it good too

A simple oil change turned into a lot of time and money spent without any corrective action taken by this unprofessional business and immature owner, Mike, with petty responses of hanging up on the call when I was very polite.This was a simple oil change that led to no oil in my car the next day which could have blown my motor up.Immediately after leaving Black s last bay garage, I noticed three drops of oil when pulling out of a fast food parking spot (reversing out).This next morning, I had one drop of oil in my car the next morning prior to a Saturday long trip which I had to cancel.Their shop isn t or wasn t opened that weekend, so I couldn t get them to check it.Moreover, I didn t want to go back because a piece of my muffler was ripped downward, opposite of any damage one would acquire through driving. It was in the reverse direction and cut all the way across the aluminum chunk under the car hanging down.Additionally, the oil change reminder showed 15328 miles to return for a new oil change but my car has 77800 miles on it. Instead of 7,500 miles to return it said comes back dated 6 months away from the current date.I have the oil filter and have since had corrective oil change where it was common knowledge that kind of thing may have (wink) happened once before.Either Black s Tire employees don t know what they are doing, the employee was incompetent, or the employee was having a bad day and took it out on my well-cared for vehicle.Regardless, the owner, Mike, chose to not make it right.Mike denied they would ever do such work, and has offered nothing to correct a simple oil change.BBB, FTC, and legal action is being taken.

Came in to replace my brakes, get a tire rotation, and change the oil. They managed to do the second two without issue but refused to replace my brakes even after I wanted to go ahead and have it done before a big trip, regardless of wear. I brought in a different vehicle previously that had squeaky brakes and they refused to fix those either. They claim to have not seen wear but as the driver it's super frustrating to have someone tell you you're not feeling something and refuse to do work even when you're trying to give them money. This place is good for everything but brakes sadly.

I've gone to them many times for oil and tire changes. They do great work and if they mess up say puting the wrong tire on they fix it and dont give you problems fixing it. Friendly service.

I went in for a front end alignment on my chevy s10. I had replaced all of the front suspension myself.SUPER Mechanic Jimmy had only gotten started on it for a few minutes when he discovered i had forgotten to put a washer back on when I had done my work on it. I was told about it and that it wasn't a problem for them. I know a washer doesn't sound like much but it's placement (Width) had to do with aligning the front end. Thanks so much to all the knowledgeable and friendly staff for a great job.

Came to get 2 tires for my sisters car and from the phone call to the actual in shop visit the atmosphere is amazing, the customer service is awesome. The place gives a feeling of family. Listening to the guys answer the phone and talking to the customers makes the 45 min drive seem short.

Great tire store super friendly staff. Been there for many years. Ask for Mike you won't find a better guy to help you. If you have something broke or past worn out they will do whatever to help you and not let you leave in a dangerous car. They have all of my respect. I had a set of brake pads that was past worn out and didn't know and they wouldn't let me leave till they could put some on and during that time I was pressed for money and they looked and found a used set that someone took off early that worked on my car and they put them on at a cheap rate and that showed me they really care about people not just money and making sales.

Had an AMAZING experience with this shop. We called ahead and asked for a specific sized tire and they confirmed they had it and gave us a quote. We made our way there to find out we had initially given them the wrong size, but they found the right size and honored the initial quote! They had the tire mounted and balanced within a matter of minutes!! We were on a time schedule and they made sure we got where we needed to be safely and on time! Highly recommended!

We use them all the time for many things not just tires. Have used them for years and they stand behind their work. They are always good and the people who work there will make you feel right at home. In many years we have never had a complaint.

They were great. I went in thinking I was gonna have to spend a bunch to get my problem fixed. Turns out the actual problem was way cheeper and they were honest with me and let me know that. They could have got me for a lot more money. Very honest

On March 30,2021, I dropped my car off early in the morning. I explained what I needed done, and what needed to be checked. After 8 hours, I still didn t hear from them. They proceeded to tell me there was some mixup where another car like mine came in for similar issues. I didn t see any cars like mine there, which probably is a lie to cover their self. I got nothing fixed after a full day of being there and they did not try to make it right with me.

Mike, Mathew, and the entire staff are honest, friendly, and do great work for a fair price. This is rare these days. They check vehicles out while servicing or putting on new tires and they don't just tell you if there is another problem, they show you. And ladies they don't do that old trick of charging you more thinking you will not know anything mechanical. If they tell you something is wrong, it is. Prices are fair across the board. It is why they stay so busy. I've dealt in cars, bought countless tires, and owned a garage/Service Center myself years ago. I can't recommend any businesses higher.

Is there anything bad one can say about being able to buy tires from Mike Owens? Ha! Seriously, fast and personal service from Black's tires. And also a great price on some of the best tires I have ever had, thanks for the advise on the choice of tires!
